I am waiting for a replacement mainboard from ROBO. This started in July and they are still not in stock. Does anyone know other than the number on the site, if there is anyone else I can call? I have submitted several tickets because I get little to no response. What poor customer service. All I have is a $1500 paper weight. The mainboard is fried and the printer wont even power on!

I updated my firmware using the supplied hex file for the Robo R2 using this download -Marlin_1.1.6_RoboVersion_1.2.4_R2.hex. After using it, it told me to set the z height so i followed online instructions. When I selected the top right z height wizard button, it said it would take some time but it is not working. I have left it for probably more than an hour with no success. Tried the firmware file Marlin_1.1.6_RoboVersion_1.2.4_R2.hex with same results. Any help would be appreciated.

Couldn't agree more with the marketing dimensions problems on the R2. In the field of R&D where dimensions are critical, a few millimeters makes all the difference. Overstating your working dimensions, even nominally for marketing purposes, just causes unhappy people. I expressly bought this R2 unit to replace my dying R1+.

I used the R1+ to print a field duty box that houses a RPi 7inch touch screen. So with a screen width of 193 mm and two 3mm walls on the box, I figure I'm golden....

Anybody that has also lusted after an Original Prusa MK2 or MK3 machine has seen the QC printout checklist that ships with every single kit and printer, but for anyone that hasn't, here is an example.

Granted, the contents of the checklist should change to match the capabilities of the R2, but it should be something that is run/generated with each machine and signed off on by a Robo employee when packed for shipping.

It would be nice if the QC...

A heavily moderated sub-forum that is focused on improvements to the Robo R2 printers.

This is not and should not be for complaints or gripes.
It should be for constructive ideas that perhaps the Robo Team has not thought about.
It can't be just "I want this" or "It needs to have that" without an explanation about why or how it could help performance or print quality. Detailed explanations of what the improvement is and why it adds value are what we are after.
Spurious posts will be...
