Hello I've been using a glue stick for a while to get my prints to stick to the platform but it leaves a white layer of glue on the first layer and its really hard to get of. So i tried using hairspray but no hairspray works for me i've tried over 5 different kinds of hairspray. So i'm wondering if anyone in the EU has any recommendations?

Hi Malte. There are lot of different aedhesions. Things like wolfbite, PEI sheets, etc. What materials are you using and we can try to offer suggestions and you can see if they are in your area or not. For what its worth I use hairspray (Aqua Net Extra Hold), Most other kinds I tried I wasn't a fan of.

Or someone can ship you a case of AquaNet :)
Slow shipping might not be insanely expensive because the product is cheap enough

Well, PM me an address and I will see how much shipping would cost the cheapest way.
It would then be roughly $23 US + the cost of that shipping.

That doesn't ship Amazon Prime (2-day) for that price so it would take a 3-5 days for it to get to me, plus the time to ship it to you.

Malte.... maybe we should look at your z offset? If doing PLA we can make it work with just about anything on the glass :D. Glue Stick, hope and dreams...I mean about anything lol. (the aqua net is awesome but it can be done without)

My z offset is .6 and it squishes the first layer a little bit

PEI works really well also, that's all I use but as in any solution your offset needs to be right.

And i tried using ABS for the first time and i tried making a calibration cube like the one in the picture and the print stuck like magic, So i think the thing i was doing wrong is the bed temperature and the nozzle temperature so ill get back when i've tested with new temperatures.

Okay so ive tried with different kinds of temperatures and the best solution for me was to get a thick layer on the bed and set my bed temp to 75 degrees and the print head to 195, after that the prints stuck very nicely even with abs :) :) :) :) :)
