Anyone use the new version yet. Between this and the firmware I seem to be printing much better. Anyone else?

Ive been having issues with 2.5 for one the automatic setting for top and bottom layers is 17 layers it says 1mm thickness but thats not the case because at .2mm layer height it still puts 17 layers for each which practically makes my smaller models completely solid.

Someone on here was saying that they had to abandon Cura after the 2.5 update due to support-welding, for what it's worth.

Will simplify3d work on the C2? Might use MeshMixer for complex prints

Works like a champ. I just export the GCode to a file and upload it to OctoPrint

Not a purchase I have ever regretted and we have been using it since version 1.

Someone had posted a method online for connecting Simplify to OctoPrint via a script so that you can save/upload automatically.
You would do this in the post-processing scripts that Simlpify3D has available.
