I created two prints successfully with no problems but there was a slight screeching noise whenever the z-axis would move. After the second print was finished the bed moved down to the bottom but then starting to make a loud grinding and vibration sound. The only way I could stop this was to turn the printer off. I then tried to raise the z-axis manually through the control pad and by physically moving the rod, but neither of them worked. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

This is because the Z limit switch (under the bottom of where the bed lands) is not getting triggered. There is a long screw that comes down below the bed and reaches under the bottom plate to make that switch. you might can see if by removing the bottom cover.

With the printer off you should be able to turn the Z rods and get the plate to lift so that you can remove the bottom cover (under where the plate bottoms-out). Switch is likely broken or knocked out of place.

The z-axis rod is stuck so I'm not able to raise the bed.

Then you need to talk with Robo about a replacement under warranty.

When I got my C2, that Z limit switch had been mis-installed so that the screw didn't hit the lever. I had to remove the screws and reinstall it. I also found several loose screws rattling around in the bottom of the printer.

Did you find homes for each of those loose screws?
