For those of you using Simplify 3D, if I want to use PETG, is it just an adjustment to the extrusion and bed temps, or are there other settings I need to mess with ?
    Thanks

The are lots of things to fiddle with :)
But those are the two main ones to change.

Well I guess I need to ask more questions:
Tried the fan off, hotend at 245 and bed at 60, and got this odd pattern:

First layer of raft looks like the lines have rotation (helix) and then when it starts the diagonal layer, it is all string and clumped.
I hope the photos show it

So, what would be your guess? Print speed?

I’ve made some progress, but only with the layers close to the print bed. So I assume the issue is with temp. But will appreciate anyone’s advice. The part of the print touching the bed is on the left of the photo :

I use petg all the time. It does not like to be be squished as much. I had to increase the z offset by .02 then I use 230 and 65 bed temp on blue tape. Also I increased my extrusion a little. Prints good.

I ordered another brand (this time eSun) to see if it was just Hatchbox PETG that I was having issues with. I also put the Hatchbox PETG in a food dehydrator that I “modified” (I cut the trays in such a way that they will have a gap in the middle for a spool ). I’ll see if that makes any difference in about 4 hours or so...

I have not tried eSun PET-G in the R2, but I have quite a few spools of it here and I used it regularly on the R1. I like their PET-G and some of their other filaments too.

Well, the issue I am having seems to be happening across the entire spectrum of filament - so i will close this thread, as it is not PETG related. It is even happening with PLA. See image

@supercazzola Open a standard troubleshooting thread with the pictures and I will close this one.
