Why do I get this message after every 10 sec?

Is it in the outside hole of the black box on the back of your printer?
If not then it must go through from the bottom to the top of the outermost hole.
If yes then the switch being used to detect is not contacting the filament properly, contact Robo support.

Post a picture of the filament where if goes through the run-out sensor.
Either you are going through the wrong side (only one side actually has a sensor even though there are two holes) or your sensor has failed.

Look here in the docs -- look for the section titled "Filament Runout Sensor Error":

    http://support-site.readthedocs.io/en/latest/R2/Troubleshooting/index.html

If the sensor is actually faulty use the docs to bypass it and put in a parts request for a new one with Robo.

Thanks a lot. I uninstalled the sensor plugin and now it has been printing for 25 min without problem, let see how far it goes.

The same happened to me last week. Not sure if it will come out, but you can see the sensor in the hole [IMG]

Haven’t heard back from robo yet.

If you get desperate and want to do it on your own @OutsourcedGuru has a mod that will address this I do believe in the C2 section (but this is not a C2 specific part)

I have a good two-sensor design printed out.

Allen at Robo 3D indicated that they're doing a total re-do on the run-out sensors, for what it's worth.

The new Prusa setup would work, optical mouse based that can also read the movement.

Oh man... pretty sure you have that tiny little blade switch. (No bueno.)

Yeah, I’ve had so many problems with the R2 that they will swap it out when the next batch is in and Allan tests it personally for me.

My Rev 2 started with the sensor error today. This is a sucky design. Rob over at Robo said they sometimes see the issue pop up after an update, but I didn't update the firmware at all. So not sure what is happening other than bad Quality Control on the parts, or bad design. Opened a ticket to get sensor replaced.

They went with a rather odd switch to do the detection when a (cheap) mechanical switch would have worked fine and lasted a long time :) The rest of the design is fine, DAT SWITCH THO.... :(

Sure wish I had it like that. Do you trust even a new batch of R2s?
