That thing doesn't cost much to begin with.. shipping would have probably not even made it worth selling.

Hopefully the instructions are clear, the interviews I watched about it said you'd have to solder a header together for it, which is a bit beyond newbie stuff.

nah @KTMDirtFace can handle that no issue. I wonder if doing that voids your warranty or not though?

I think the header to be made is meant to go on the Pi itself before plugging it into the EinsyRambo board, not on the Einsy Rambo board directly, so it shouldn't void the warranty.

Unless you were talking about a warranty on the Pi.

It could very well be! I'd have to go back and watch Sanladerer's interview with Prusa again and :effort:

I can solder, soldered some tiny ass quadcopter boards/pins. Pi should be easy.

Prusa outta sell pre-soldered ones for newbs..but I think he said that its too hard to get mass quantity of them.

Prusa had a manufacturing problem with the Powdercoated springsteel bed plates. :(

They offered to send a sticker PEI bed now, then charge me for the Powdercoated one in january after their production issues are fixed.

I decided nope, I'm not paying extra.. just send my printer when its ready.

My robo works so I don't need the prusa this minute i can wait another 2 months.

I was wondering how they were going to powdercoat spring steel. I have had many things powdercoated and on one mountain bicycle I crashed and dented a tube the powdercoat did not flex but rather stayed round in the original tube shape. Crashing is why I don't mountain bike anymore, feel safer on the road.

Lol, I feel the opposite, I feel safter on Moto in the dirt, and on mountain bikes. No CARS.

Well, might get the prusa at the end of the month, we shall see. Not holding my breath lol.

Has Thomas Sanladerer moved toward only unboxing and printer builds and nothing more useful.

I dont think he is doing toms guides anymore if thats what you mean. Have not watched much of his new stuff. Seems mostly live streams from a quick glance.
