    Hello everyone.
I have the R2 and i am hesitant to use it anymore because of Cura.
I don't like how it makes the supports to where under the print it leaves this messed up jagged print.
I would show you all a picture but for some odd reason my jpegs will not load here.
What is the best program for the R2 than can do good support material and not mess up my print at the same time? Thank you.

A lot of us use Simplify3D, well reputed for support quality.

Taking Slic3r Prusa Edition and adjusting the machine parameters for the R2's build area would probably work well, too.

I use Simplify 3D with my R2. I've had really good results from their supports - super easy to remove.

$150 for a slicer isn't bad in context of paying around $1,500 for a printer.

Yes. I have spent more than that in filament -- sometimes in a month.

100% agree. Kinda silly to say no to a paid slicer after spending a lot on a machine. S3d fff years and wouldn't go back. Do use others as well but never once regretted the purchase

Will Simplify 3D connect to the Robo R2 wireless and print directly to the printer, the same way Cura is working?

In Cura, you can save a file, or send to printer wirelessly.

No. You save the file, drop it in the web interface and start form there. That's basically what Cura does automatically for you.
