If you need to buy filament in the USA, today (Friday the 24th) seems to be the day. I just ordered some from MakerGeeks for 30% off (coupon code: MakerBlack), and PrintedSolid is also running a 25% off deal on some of their materials. MatterHackers claims they're running a sale, but it's unclear from their site what the discount is or whether the listed prices are pre-discounted. I haven't checked other retailers, but I suspect a lot of them have sales going today, and perhaps on Monday, too.

But, not much that will work for us. Seems to be mostly 2.85/3 mm left.

There was more :) I helped reduce that overstock a good bit myself.
Yes, now though it is ... not so much.

Ya. The 1.75 overstock is pretty well picked over, but we still have a healthy amount of the white PC Plus. Most of those come with a ~8X8 sheet of buildtak, but the way the mix is, it would have been too complicated to sort so we just left that detail out.

Monday we're going to do a less dramatic sale on filament that will apply to everything including the hatchbox, colorFabb economy, and Materio3D that are all pretty reasonably priced already. printedsolid.com/blackfriday

Was tempted, but I really have no business messing with PC :)
Will check back tomorrow for sure.

Could anyone tell me if you can print with this stuff on a stock R1+ hotend?

@Ender I have printed PC on a slightly modified R1. The only real concern is with warping. You may need to use glue stick or a solution of white glue thinned with water to brush on the bed to keep the PC stuck down while printing. Every model I have ever printed as some level of warping. Some pretty bad, others very little, it just depends on too many factors.

I understand there are newer Polycarbonate blends that have been formulated to be easier to print. I have never tried any and don't know if PC Plus is one of them.

You sound like me ! Didn't take much twistin lmao

Ender- yes possible. @Printed Solid sells an enclosure for the R1 which would be a great idea to pick up if printing PC, ABS and other high warp materials. PC also likes buildtak :) sometimes to much

Allegedly, it is. I will be happy to report back once we have a chance to try some. Was too good a price to pass up. Heck, everything was priced really sweet. Good work @Printed Solid :)

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I have a lot of experience with ABS, I have used it the most. This is because of its sanding qualities, makes for easier finishing.

So warping isn't really the problem, I wasn't too sure if the printer could supply the hot end with enough juice and for long periods of time.

My 1 lb combat robot could really use a shell printed from this stuff!
