    i would recommend kisslicer, print paths seem to be alot more refined then slic3r. There are features that slic3r doesnt have

    they have a free and a paid pro version . link is above. but to get there latest release go to the forums section for newest kisslicer version.

    I see on the KISSlicer forum a list of compatible printers. I don't see Robo on them. Can the software still be used?

    yes, kisslicer is universal software. its probably not on the list because the robo is new printer.

    Not to awaken the dead (thread) but to add a comment.

    I have had a number of models where SLIC3R fell down (generated cgode that was, just not workable for the printer--such as items suspended in mid-air, even with support configured).

    To add my 2 cents, kisslicer is easy and works but I was unhappy with the detail/quality.
    Cura works well and seems to be a good alternative.

    Skienforge would likely be just as good, but the setup is, well, daunting.

    Robo R1+ What wrong stepper motor Y Axis different right outside lead screw out and light normal? Different right, now i just found out[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]
