I'm printing the 3D Benchy boat and when the print head moves around the outside perimeter of the boat, everything sounds as expected, but when it gets inside the boat and makes small movements back and forth, the noise increases significantly. I can't seem to zero in on what is causing it. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Unfortunately, I bought the R2 second hand, so it's no longer under support.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

You still can call Robo and schedule a tier two tech :D. But of course we are here as well (users that volunteer out time) to assist you :D.

I'm with @mark tomlinson The reason you hear it increase is on infill it will (set by the slicer) go faster than on the outside walls. If you can shoot a video of whats going on for us that would help alot so we can put "eyes and ears" on what your seeing/hearing.

congrats on the new to you machine :D
