I was thinking about buying flyingbear ghost version 3 on ebay. Some say its great some say its crap but i cant resist the temptation of fully enclosed case.

How ever, i went ebay searching to see how much does robo r1 cost these days vs price here on the mfg page which is $500+taxes and shipping.
Ebay listings could be as low as $320 with free shipping. Thats nearly half the price.

    Any cache ?
Any perks buying from here ? (except for $10 worth of filament)

Unless I am mistaken this is the cost I see today:

    30 Month Warranty
    +$299.99/printer

    18 Month Warranty
    +$149.99/printer

But none of us work for Robo so you are better off reaching out to them for specifics :)

@tonycstech I am not in love with the FlyingBear,. just not a big fan of stamped steel frames. Are their other enclosed printers you are looking at?

Well, when I pulled up the R1+ page this morning this was where it went (pulled from my cache) :

    https://robo3d.com/pages/r1-add-on

Which clearly is NOT the actual R1+ sales page :) That is the warranty add-on I imagine

Sorry, their site must have led me astray :)

In fact I could not ADD an R1+ to the cart and then the storerfront bitched about the warranty being there with no printer when I tried to checkout. So, you can't get an R1+ now from them it seems. Before I just stopped on the page before checkout and all that was getting listed was the add-on warranty (I missed that)

Mind you clicking the buy now as if I were trying to order one then led me to the warranty add-on page (with no error) only when I went to check out was it apparent that there was no printer included (and no way to add one) although it did pop-up offering me to upgrade to an R2 :)

Yea, you can probably add a squaretrade warranty cheaper than Robo has theirs (if the printer was even still available).

I wish they had not stopped actual production of the R1+, was to the point it was a decent machine if you could get it to your door working :)
