My printer is flyingbear ghost. LCD controller writes current print state to SD card to allow resuming if power fails.
It is constantly writing data to SD card to record print progress.
Problem is that its not doing it very well. If power fails, gco file gets corrupted and if you attempt to print it again, it will most likely drive hot end where it does not belong creating problems and even breaking the machine.

    Any help with that ?
SD card write protection switch is not helping. Controller is cheap and does not check that by design.
    Firmware hack maybe ?

Not really familiar with that printer. Have you tried this group?

Yes, it sounds like a firmware hack would be the only approach. A cheap UPS power supply would be an alternative :)

What do you mean "cheap UPS" ? How would adding another power supply help the problem ?

I mean a cheap uninterruptible power supply for the printer to keep it from losing power.

I run all of mine on one, they will hold for 40-90 minutes.

I dont need that. Problem is not the power, but the constant data writing.
In fact, thats how i turn the printer off, i just use M81 command to trigger 5v relay which causes AC line to break and disconnecting printer from power completely.
M81 code is executed at the end of each print but i do allot of manual power off's by pressing RESET switch. It does same thing.
