Need help on auto level software

    I have noticed an area of poor performance in the auto level sequence. The G29 command goes through multiple measurements of bed to IR board height. The coded turns the steppers off then on on each measurement. That means it loses the micro stepping height. I have looked through the code and have been unable to find it. It must apply to all Robo machines.

    I need someone facile with the code to find out where the stepper is turned is turned off so it may remain on through the whole test and maintain the micro stepping info.

    I am using Arduino 1.8.9 has anyone upgraded to version 2.0 safely? I doubt that the older versions are supported for bug fixes.

    I seem to recall some folks discussing going to Marlin 2.x, but I can not remember who.
    since 2.0 is the current label I doubt they will backport fixes, but they may know if one exists.
