What is the verdict on the stock cooling fan with the new (smaller) V6? Can we stick with it, or do we need to print a replacement?

I need to put my old carriage back together and take a picture. But I'm like 99.999% sure the answer is yes, the stock mount will work.

    100% it won't.

    Well I just checked.

The E3D v6 will not work with the stock metal fan bracket. You'll need to print a replacement.

Hello i received my e3d v6 today but i have a problem to mount it.

Have you mount the ptfe tube on the head ?? I think with the excess of plastic i can mount it properly on the robo3d. When i screwed the head she seems not to be right and i can push the screw at maximum.

I mount the heater cartridge and the stock thermistor for the beginning i don't think that's the best but for now on repetier it seem's to work.

I was looking at this, what I would personally do is drill out the feed hole to ~4.2mm then push up the PTFE tube to just below the hobbed bolt, then trim it there. Then you have a super smooth feed to the nozzle.

Ok i jut finish to mount my e3d and it's good but i have two problems.

I make a video to see the problem. At the end i show the head fan is this in correct position ? I follow the video guide on youtube to mount my head.

Note : i can print anyway but i'm think there is a wire problem.

It doesn't seem like you X end stop switch is getting pressed. Can you verify it's closing the switch?

Vkial, maybe it's my aging eyes, but I did not see the part cooling fan (only the E3D fan). Did I miss it?
