    ok,
i connected the burnt part with soldering, couldn't get a wire to stick
properly isolated the copper head of the extruder
i turned on the printer and realized there is heat coming from the hot end
i connected Repetier (was closed) and saw the temp at 120 and rising.
i tried to stop it at 140 but it kept going
tried to turn on/off the extruder heat. nothing happened.
so i turned off the printer

what did i do wrong ? did i bypass something ? or is there another part that got affected and i need to change ?

Like I said your MOSFET failed open. You need to replace it before continuing. Every time your 12v is on it'll bypass the mosfet and heat until you do.

just to be sure, it's the one on the burnt connection only ? not both correct ?
and it's with the same specs you linked here

Yes just the one near the burnt trace. That's the only one I replaced. You should verify your fan and hbp (if you have one) are functioning. Just be sure you unplug your heater so you're not heating it up as you test these.

That's the MOSFET i purchased and described in the RAMPS 1.4 schematic http://reprap.org/mediawiki/images/f/f6/RAMPS1.4schematic.png

Yeah I didn't expect you to buy from mouser, just linking to the part file so you knew exactly what to get.

There's probably other options but that's the best choice. Are there not distributors in UAE (I think thats where you are right?)

the bastards want me to make an order of 50 pcs
and if i want to rush it, i have to pay $150 extra
basically he's saying, pay me as if i made the order and sold all of them. ripoff

That sucks man. I think digikey has worldwide distributors. Maybe something closer to you.

    I have a question,
can i take the Mosfet from D9 (heat bed?) and use it for the hot end ? i didn't check the values on it if its the same or not.
but if it is, there shouldn't be a problem right ?

i'll be printing with PLA so i don't think i'll be needing the heat bed for a while
my mail order of the mosfet seams to be lost somewhere. gonna have to order another one from someone that would ship with FEDEX or DHL just to make sure it gets here

hope it's possible, as my printer is just gathering dust in a corner

after waiting for 12 months to get my replacement smooth rod supports and coupler i replaced them
but when i was putting the hot end rail back i managed to ruin the ball bearings on the smooth rod.
    lucky F*cken me
not its not moving properly and it gets stuck. another year of waiting coming ahead

Not sure where you live but those are standard LM8UU bearings and can be bought online many places cheaply. No way you would need to wait a year.

completely random examples from Ebay and Amazon:
