    no... this program is A TOOL to help you edit your firmware. see the section of this document that has to do with installing e3d v6. you really should read this stuff before you mess with your printer espessially wiring or firmware.

    That document is very out of date unfortunately. We need to start transitioning it and updating it to the wiki.robo3d.com site

    v4 isn't very good because they added a temp limit on the hbp to 85C

    Thank you for the information you gave me. It was usefull, i have done all. But the E3d V6 jammed, i guess the filament stock on the reverse move. The robo 3d slightly pulls the filament up when stops extruding. And it sucks the melted filament up. Any solution for this issue?

    CN you take the hotend out of the ecturder and post some pics?

    Here some images:

    The filament jammed right on top of the cooling right now, after the locking washer. look at photo 1. photo 2 it shows the different thickness of filament. the top one is the one i pulled it out from PTEF tube. it is obviously thicker. the one on down of the picture, is the piece of filament to observe the difference. what do you think the problem is?

    I'll becha ithere is a really really good chance that PTFE tube isn't long enough to meet the end of heat break. Notice that ring around filiment it is filling the void between the heatbreak and PTFE. So every time it pushes molten filiment between the PTFE and the heartbreak where it cools and hardens causing Jams. Boom I had a very similar problem this afternoon.

    how did you solveit? i struggle to pull the PTFE tube out and replace it.

    That's going to be really tough basically you have to depress the black part and weasle the PTFE tube out. The tube can only come out when the black is depressed. I recommend using tweezers to pull out the PTFE.

    i think the problem is the router which push the filament in. the speed is more than the capacity of nozzle and headsink. is there any adjustment for that which i am not aware of?

    Make sure your retraction is set to about 25. But seriously I'm pretty certain you need a longer price of tube dude.

    i replaced the tube. I want to do my first test. usually, it works perfect at the beginning like 10 to 15 rows.

    perfect test print, but , it starts to jam for the second printagain. i dont understand what it is wrong with this extruder. i should say it prints awesome when it works

    Have you seasoned it or tried an oiler?

    PLA wants to be sticky in the extruder.
    Sometimes you can cure that with printing hotter, but that can add other complications.

    Try this, clean it all out.
    Take a napkin or part of a paper towel and tape it around the filament right where it is going into the extruder.
    Soak it with vegatable oil (preferably Canola, but any pure vegetable oil will do).

    Now try your print.

    Mine looks like the attached photo, the sponges are soaked in Canola.
    Never a PLA jam since adding it. (also using the E3D myself)

    You can get fancy yourself once you prove (or not) that it helps :)
    If it does help it is an easy add-on

    My cure all for jams was to buy a really long PTFE tube and run it all the way ti the extruder wheel after drilling a very close hugging hole through it. IMG_20140907_212032435_HDR.jpg

    That will help, it may not 100% solve the PLA wanting to stick to the inside of the nozzle (that happens in the hot part). Nonetheless, it will help.
    I used a similar approach for NinjaFlex. I only use that tube for that filament, but it makes the feed work.

    Not sure how many of the feed issues are that versus heat creep and the like. I do not have that problem with the E3D v5 (as long as the cooling fan is running at least) however the newer, smaller hotends might.
