RoBo 3D Printer Arrived!

    When watching the video, please skip to 16 seconds, it is very blurry the first 17. Also, I will be posting more pictures all the time.


    So I took a 15MM Cube Printed on my Printrbot Simple, and a 15MM Cube Printed on my Robo, which one is which? Can you tell the quality difference? So the Robo was printed in 300 Micron, and the Printrbot Simple was printed in a 200 Micron. So the Printrbot was supposed to be better quality. HAHA

    Harry... From what you can tell.... how hard will it be to get to the Arduino board to hook up the Viki LCD controller cable? Is the bottom open or is there major disassembly required to get to it?

    Do you have acrylic clipped down to the bring bed or is that how it is designed?

    What are you 1st impressions?

    HEy JDM_, It seems it will be VERY SIMPLE to connect the Viki! The bottom is open, and no disassembly will be required it seems. I have boro glass clipped down. My first impression, is epic. Great speed!

    What resolution was the printer set to on the video ?

    congrats looks great I want mine too I can hardly wait to get started. Have you tried the ABS yet? What is it like? Do you have a preference at all yet? I got about a thousand questions as do others do you better get prepared. You thought it would be east getting the first ones? you pclab and patmc are going to be busy answering questions also HAHAHA.

    I did get the ABS printer too! I have tried ABS, and I didn't smell any fumes or anything. It is am amazing printer. More than anything I could have wanted! I think for the price, this is the best printer on the market, without a doubt. I think I need to use ABS more to decide, I like the ABS Blue more than the PLA blue, I'll get some more pictures up later, I have a family member over ATM so won't be posting more pictures till he leaves. I'll answer any questions, and as many questions as you guys have! No problem Trenton!

    Can you please do a 100 micron 15mm cube (or just anything else that is at 100 microns) ? I'd love to see the power of the printer, but mine won't come till September.

    Now that I have seen an actual printer print I will be purchasing my own, I look forward to seeing and hearing what you have to say about the printer in the coming days. Any hiccups or problems so far? I see you have your own spool system developed, very nice. I am interested to see how ABS vs PLA print, yes I saw the picture, on both geometric and non-geometric designs.

    I am sure you will get more than enough information to keep you satisfied over the next few weeks as the printers start getting delivered and people start printing and congratulations on your purchase
