    Cool. I saw a cool drink coaster set on the same Stargate idea. I was planning on printing it one day. Yours came out pretty nice.

    I've had my Robo r1 for a little over a month now. Little trial and error here, little there and I'm happy with the results. At the same time I got the printer I also got a 3D scanner. My goal is to do 3D portraits. A 7 month old just really didn't want to hold still to be scanned, so dad picked her up . . and an idea flashed in my mind. Scan them both at the same time.     You better sit down for this one. I guess I'm just lucky. I use the software that came with the robo. The only thing I changed was I unchecked the box for support material. And it's printed on the "high" setting.


    Up until about three weeks ago I had never touched a 3D printer so I haven't messed with any of the settings, and I wasn't having good luck when it was adding support material.

    This one I just gave to the guy for free because I couldn't figure out a way to get the support material off.

    That is the slicers fault. I never got decent, workable supports reliably until I switched away from the free packages.
    Not saying it is not possible with those, but I had no luck there.

    i need to start painting. dont,really want to remember how long it took.
    diffrent colour due to filliment runninng out mid print and not checking lol im getting there

    Not as much as I thought still needs a bit of work and some stringeyness around it still to. im not the best painter :p

    I think my printers working now :)

    Also just orderd up some bronzefill I have been doing well so far :)
