Glass texture

    Just a thought. If the blue tape works because it is mildly textures, Why not a mild 'sand blast' with aluminum oxide to add a micro texture to the glass. The glue, or hairspray coating would hold to the textures surface. I wonder if it has been tried. I thought of this when I saw a post where someone said they printed Ninjaflex on plywood to keep it in place. Frank

    People have tried this. You can also etch the glass.
    The problem I've read is that it actually sticks too aggressively.

    Hay, there has to be that point in the middle! lol
    When I get my R1 I will pick up a spare glass and give it a mild blast of aluminum oxide. I have the equippment and abrasive already.
    After 32 years of working on copiers, you get very inventive. Frank
