My parametric orchid planter printed @ 100 microns in PLA. Sadly I got the dimensions a bit wrong and it's rather too large to be practical :) The diameter at the top is ~8 inches

This has been the largest print I have done to date and has taken the most time, but it was fun and turned out awesome. Still have a few more things to do, run leds and vacuum form a lens. @Steven Stowell printed out the glow in the dark parts for me and also is going to help with leds.

This project is on Thingiverse. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:158120

    Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to put up a picture of my biggest print to date - 23 hours after starting I have a made to fit shoulder armor piece for my Renaissance fair outfit, I'm planning on printing a whole set of armor in pieces.

Don't think this is my best print, but thought it was unique enough to share. This is a two piece design that simply snaps together to give a sharp edge dual color. I created this in Inkscape, imported into Blender, tweaked the settings and exported to STL. It was a fun project on how to go from 2d drawing to 3d printing.
    Go Bobcats.

Printed with cheap shaxon black PLA from Fry's. Not a huge fan of it as the layer lines are pretty visable even though it's very very smooth to the touch. Maybe I am just being way to picky. Prinnted the body, legs, head separately. Snapped together without issue.

    Hey guys, new here.

I got my R1 for a birthday present and have printing nearly constantly.

While this may not be the best print I ever do, It's my best one to date.

It's a fossil from African Fossils, they are nice enough to publish 3D scans of several of their collection. They seem to print well enough after a run through netfab.

    Anyway, here's to the future!

    Mike
