RAMPS 1.3 vs RAMPS 1.4 in Marlin

    Hi,

    Does anyone know the difference between ramps 1.3 vs 1.4 in Marlin firmware? I just realized i've been using 1.3 for my Robo 3D r1 +Plus which I believe has a 1.4 board. What type of impact could this have?

    Servo Pin, otherwise no differences at all, no Robo comes from Robo3D with a servo.

    Every Robo3D ever runs on a Ramps 1.4. The newest ones are hacked up but use the same pins as always

    I've never even heard of someone using a Ramps 1.3

    But Mikey, I think the default Marlin source has RAMPS 1.3 selected. (I am not going to check this myself)

    I meant my Firmware had specified my board to be RAMPS 1.3, not that I was using a 1.3 physical board.

    Just making sure. I can confirm the default source defines Ramps 1.3 as the board, not 1.4

    Every flavor of Marlin 1.0.0 defaults to the lowest common denominator RAMPS 1.3.

    As I mentioned before, the only difference is the PIN for Servo.

    Ok I thought he meant the robo firmware, which is set to 33

    // 33 = RAMPS 1.3 / 1.4 (Power outputs: Extruder, Fan, Bed)
