    All,

So after just 3 days and 6 hours of printing, I had a failure of my extruder motor. Robo3D is coming through and shipping me a new motor, hopefully I will have it tomorrow.

However, for the future, I think Id like to have a spare motor on hand. Does anyone know what model to order so I can keep a spare on hand?I have looked up NEMA 17 Stepper motors online and see many choices and not sure which is right. Any direction is as always greatly appreciated!

While I'm on it, are there any other spare parts folks would consider crucial to keep on hand to avoid downtime?

    Thank you!

    Chris

Spare steppers, spare stepper drivers, spare ramps and a spare arduino.
I also suggest a printed spare of just about everything else plastic on there :)

Robo 3d sells the motor here for $14. Have no idea if that's a good price or not but at least you can be sure it should work and fit your printer. They also sell some other general parts, including the motherboard even, in case yours burns out.
