First wood filament attempt.

 

You using the R1 +Plus? What brand? What where your Temps? I bought my R1+ two weeks ago and Im looking at doing some projects requiring wood. Thanks!

 

I am using R1 refurbished not the newest one.
I used LD wood pla .8kg which is lighter and brighter than the color fab wood pla 1kg which is darker and heavier at 190c. They both performed well for me.

Every brand has it's own characteristics.

But I did make some modifications with 3dbuilder a microsoft program.

I don't want to mislead you my modifications were minor mostly just to divide the mask pole and sizing problems/running them thru net-fab nothing earth shattering.

3d builder is just a windows 10 app but it is really nice app when you figure it out. It can connect to my Da Vinci 1.1 plus.
