Here are some pictures of the Modified Robo R1 +PLUS Printer and Computer I use at work. I would really like to have one at my home though, so I can tinker more often, Robo3D ;);)!

    Hope everyone enjoys!

Haven't had much time to play with the Printer at work since I have been working in the shop Milling and Welding lately. I want to try the new Release Candidate of Marlin and setup MESH leveling, but I would hate to "break" a printer that's technically not mine! Now that my feet are wet, its pretty easy to revert back to ABL though.

After looking at @Geof wall-mount spool holder, I may have to fabricate myself one of those. I already broke the Top Mount Spool Holder, when installing a new roll of filament. So for now I just drilled it out and put a bolt there for a temporary fix, until I found a different solution.

And there it is! Pretty simple, looks like 2 pieces of bent sheet metal and a rod drilled/tapped on both ends. I think I will powder coat it and try to make it adjustable as well (or at least fit 2 spools).

I will see if I can get in contact with Robo for a returned one. I am not too concerned if it comes broken, since being on these forums a lot of new ones even come broke. But like you said these printers are fairly easy and reasonable to fix.

Lol! Yeah I found it on Amazon after posting. I figured it'd be a $25-30 part. For $12, I think I'll just order one!

The dual is a real pain to maneuver but the single is awesome. I do like the 2 spools available though :)

Here is my setup. I just got a new tv, so both of my robo's no longer fit on my table, have the R1+ on a coffee end table temporarily till i figure out what to do with it.

Your just the guy who has less chance of shattering his build plate changing out the filament.

I think im going back to the stock spool holders so I can build a shelf and stack my printers. If I could find the other stock holder.

Print it or I'm sure someone here has one that is collecting dust.
