    Got new headphones for my PC. Made this in Fusion 360 and printed on my roboR1 last night in Esun orange PETG. .3mm layers

    Very nice. I love Fusion 360. Fusion 360 and a Robo make a nice match for making what you need.

    Yea its great, i'm still getting used to it. But that timeline feature or whatever is the best thing about it by far.

    Wait until you start making models that include other smaller models, the updating of designs is awesome. But, I like the timeline the best too.

    Any hardware you need to add to your models...look at http://www.mcmaster.com/. If you find a nut or bolt you want to include into your design you can go to their site and into product details. It will show a nice 2d drawing of the part and you have the option to download that 3d model in all sorts of formats to import. I just download the solidworks model and import it into Fusion 360. Very handy tip I learned awhile back.

    For fastners i use fastenal locally. Have or can get everything i need at large quantities and fast

    They are good but don't have any small stuff where I live and not much metric stuff either. I end up raiding the bins at ACE hardware.

    You guys do realize that @danzca6 meant within you model file. McMaster-Carr can import 3D models of nearly all their fasteners into your model in Fusion 360.

    Yeah my mind was pretty much blown when I discovered that moons ago. Very handy. I don't think many people realize it is there so I try to mention it where I can to those first using 360.

    I absolutely love McMaster Carr for this. I have been using this feature for years! No need reinventing the wheel. I use SolidWorks so just download and drop it in. For bolts/nuts/screws etc, I still use the SolidWorks Toolbox, but you could save the McMaster files in a custom toolbox. One positive of using McMaster designs is the Part Number associated with it for easy ordering and BOM. Plus McMaster Carr has insane shipping! I just designed some Custom Fixtures using 80/20 and used all of their Models for the Aluminum 80/20 and hardware. Keep in mind all of their parts do not have the CAD files available, but most do.
