And all I need is to try for my second print. First one came out good but nothing since.

I WILL get this thing working properly, maybe not today though.

just added another calibration test which was kinda of cool
    2013-11-04 07.54.53.jpg
This is called tornado alley and it is done in a single print at the extremes of the print bed and at the center showing that all areas are nice and level.

Mike Kelly and I were talking about doing this type of print to show the levelness of the bed so he gets credit for the idea I just put a bit of flourish to it and added difficulty.

The tornadoes were all done with a 1 perimeter wall at 200 microns so are on the delicate side and have things pretty dialed in to succeed which all did just wonderfully the four outer ones are .25 scale and the middle one is .33 scale and all turned out just great.

So once the Robo gets dialed in it works very nicely
    here are other pics

Well I guess I am on another tornado stint here is my latest and I think you will be impressed I am

All done with a single extruder and no multi color filament on the ROBO it is the common tornado vasewith single perimeter walls.

The color swaps were done on the fly, in the prior process I had to preprogram the locations in the gcode prior to beginning the print. This was as I said done on the fly , in fact I decided to make the three thing lines in the reverse order of the first three colors while the red layer was printing

This image is mid print just as the final green layer is being started

this is the print after it was finished

This was after I glued it on to a blue scrap piece that happened to be a nice little stand
