    thats right now I remember
well on a good note I think these are the ingredients to llok for in your hairspray if you want to use it n the heatbed
Aquanet our favorite here has both other that do not work well do not have them

    VA/Crotonates/Vinyl Neodecanoate Copolymer,
    Acrylates Copolymer,

maybe you can find one that also has them

also on that wavy thing try and turn down the travel speed on your prints some of the current thoughts are a resonance is being setup that is overcoming the structural stability of the printer not enough of course to break things but could affect the print I know mine is set at 140 try yours at 100 and see if their is any type of improvement.

i pulled out the PTFE tube, looks pretty clean, gonna clean out the hotend with a wire, just need to find one that fits
it sucks being isolated like this, could have taken a guitar wire from my brother back home

    lets see how it goes.
i'll also try to clean some with Acetone

Acetone may work to cleanup some aspect but if you have been printing in PLA then not so much. Does your filament slide easily insde that tube I notice a bulge on one end and that concerns me a bit that indicates it may have gotten too hot at some point.Make sure the filament goes through that tube with out any or only a very very slight resistance, it ismeant mainly as a guide and should not bind the filament in any way.

i cleaned the hot end with a thread of a wire i pulled off a cable
i brushed off the the tip off the hot end.
    reinstalling everything.
will give the hollow pyramid a shot when i'm done

I managed to find Smooth rods and threaded rods when i went out to buy a caliper
    got 2x 1 M smooth rods
    and 2x 1M threaded rods

if all goes well, i'll be extending things soon :)

very nicely done One thing I would test it and make sure it both heats up and is controlled by Repetier before reinstalling it the thermistor can be a little troublesome. Did you get a chance to see how the filament itself just went through the tube that bulge at one end concerns me a bit if it binds the filament you will not get the proper extrusion

yea, i checked it, it was a bit resisted, i inserted a needle top screw driver and wobbled it a bit till it moved freely, i didn't make it too big, its about 1.8mm

the filament moves better, just started the pyramid.

    fingers crossed

ok if you set it based on only the business card then you are way too high
that is only the rough setting now you need to do the fine tuning
getting the skirt to look good

it like this you need to get close and it is easier to be definitely wrong in one direction then you generally only have to adjust in one direction the business card gets you close but always high some people use paper but then they could be high or low. The business cards pretty much says you will be high so all you need to do is adjust downward until the skirt looks good

I fyou have to go higher it is only because you went down too much on one of your adjustments so take it slow and you should be good

as soon as i tweak it a little to get that pushed effect it starts touching the back side of it's direction and starts to blob
or, it prints the the perimeter correctly and when it fills at 45 degrees it starts blobbing

my blood pressure is getting high. need a break and some ice cream

i think my rods are messing up everything
i printed the one you designed but i printed it vertically now when i tighten the screws, the layers split
so i decided to Epoxy glue the broken ones again, they failed twice. so this time i drilled ports so that it fills the grid under it for better strength

    lets see how that goes.

if you check the first post on this thread you'll see that i received my printer with two broken smooth rod supports and a bent threaded rod coupler
you had designed the support rods which i printed but they split from the layers when i tightened them down due to bad prints i made :)

so, i'm tring to fix my old ones because the Robo team didn't send me any replacement parts which they said they would

the steps is either a Y shift or an x shift depending on how it was oriented based on the amount it is a loose belt id it were on the actual gear slipping on the motor you would see it go back and forth most likely.

We need to get back on Skype and go over your settings something has to be off
