When you say "Now all that is left is wiring your Ramps fan, LED strips and hotend fan to the 12V input connection"

Where is this 12v connection? Can you provide a pic of all the wires to this 12v connection?

Thanks in advance in the middle of the retrofit and I'm on the last step. I'd like to avoid cutting wires but this doesn't seem possible if so is there a way.

    Hi there,
The 12 v connection on my set up is direct to power supply now. At the time of writing the 12v green molex connector is where i ran them. It worked fine but was a pain.

You have to remove at least the connectors. I suggest cutting the connector off and stripping some new wire but its your call. How youd like it done on your machine :)

Yeah, the RAMPS uses standard Dupont Pin Headers, unless it is a proprietary board. Dupont Headers have 2.54 mm spacing (1/10").

Does this look correct for the thermistor, endstop, heat bed and hotend wiring?

From this picture I definitely have the end stops wrong. Can someone confirm the wiring with a pic? The one onw the front page isn't very clear.

For a standard ramps this is correct (note how they are on every other set of pins):

Your confusion may be the way the RAMPS brings out the endstop wires...
let me go look at a board. It brings out a +, -, and a SIG

This is a better picture. We just do not use the Autoleveling probe that is included in this picture.

Note how the endstops plug across the upper two pins on that rail. If you plug it across the lower two (+ and -) you will simply short the + to - :)

One last question. Is it possible to hook the heating bed connections up backwards? Reason I ask is there is n o real way of telling positive from negative. Thanks for all the help Mark.

No, they are a big resistor so backwards is not an issue for the heat bed heating element.

    you are welcome sir.

One last thing I noticed is the colors of the stepper motor cables differs from charts should I just match up the black ground because I notice also all of mine are backwards if I use your pics colors?
