See my previous response in other thread.

I seriously doubt Robo will offer this.

You want to know what works GREAT for printing in ABS? A bath towel! Seriously, it works. I have....many.... hours printing in ABS and I have ZERO issues with warping or adhesion. I added a plexiglass window so you can view everything. I cut the slit in the top to allow a bit of air flow to keep things from getting too hot in there. It does heat up the stepper motors, but so far they haven't puked.

    Its a $5 solution.

ETA: A pic is worth a thousand words...

I just flop the front of the towel up onto the top of the printer and you remove as normal. I literally just threw a blanket over the top.

    :)
    No.
I thought the picture was rather obvious, but apparently... not so much

Sometimes folks overthink things a bit

I can hear my wife freaking out if I even attempt such a "fix". LOL.
Hey, if it works I have no argument... however, the inner fireman in me is saying no.

I use aluminum foil and tape to temporarily enclose the printer... assuming the parts I want to print are not too big in the Y axis.

But I love the towel solution. :)

The towel doesn't contact anything remotely hot enough to get it on fire, unless there is a massive failure anyway. I use 100% cotton, the ignition point is about 400*C.

Oh, I get it my friend, if it works then where is the argument? I have none. It just "looks" scary and that means something to the wife. LOL. Carry on and enjoy.

Now THAT is the most clever thing I've seen yet.
    Thanks.
