R2 expected May

    This printer is nice and has quality components, but .. problem free it is NOT and their support is non-existent.
    Just so you know :) [full disclosure -- I have a whole thread on this -- they eventually made the bad parts right, or most of them]

    Once you get it working right the quality of the build is obvious, but they seriously need to work on getting rid of bum parts and getting better support.

    I haven't looked at that one in a long time. Back in 2015 they were a well known workhorse printer manufacturer but I'm not sure what their current standing is since the MK2 came out.

    Just received a Kickstarter update from Robo on the R2. Photos show the R2 being assembled at Foxconn by a team of 10 workers. Looks a lot more organized than the original C2 production line. I'm expecting May delivery, possibly sooner if they decide to ship from China by air.

    I got it too. :)

    Lets all hope they ship from China. I think they have finally connected back with the Robo3D community after the hurdles they had.

    They have not changed much over the years other than the hotend, but linear rails, very good printer. Friend has one from years ago, its still going no issues.

    Any news on the R2 last ive seen on kickstarter was them saying they were working on a update but that was last week

    no word. that was two weeks ago. I have not seen any videos or updates.

    Figures.... typical Robo would be nice to see all of the kickstarters back out and then lets see how fast they start pushing out updates
