I need a second printer just for the fact that I can't keep my wife off of this one. She's becoming pretty good at printing herself. LOL

You say that now...but 2 means 4...4 means a room full... a room full means a larger inventory @mark tomlinson can verify this. Its an addiction. lol.

It starts with one (printer) then becomes one (room) then becomes one (workshop) ... I'll let you know if it gets any worse than that.

No doubt. I'm sitting here at work and she just sent me a picture of what she's printing now. A Stormtrooper doll.

When we decided to get the Robo I jokingly said I'd like to have a room full of them working for us. I can see that becoming a reality now. LOL. Highly addictive and now that she's caught the bug.........

I only have the one robo :D lol. I'd hold off on ordering a room full of them until you see what else is out there :D

(keep in mind, I dearly love my robo)

We love ours too. "Rob" has been great to us. Most of the minor issues we have had just took some learning on my part.

I would get another Robo, but I want to build a kit next. Then put the parts together for a kit for a third printer. This was the progression that I went through when I was learning to build drones.

Any E3DV6 nozzles will work (not volcano) check out www.printedsolid.com

I buy my nozzles from him. You can get cheaper knock offs but I perfer the genuine

Are they worth even cleaning or just replace them since they're pretty inexpensive?

I think thats opinion :D. I clean all mine out and reuse until they are garbage. Some just toss them for new ones. Totally up to you! I figure if I have it pulled out from a swap anyway whats another 3 minutes with a butane torch:D

Lots of was on the Interwebs. Acetone soak and heat followed by the right gauge wire seem to be the root of them all. I figured I would also throw them in the ultrasonic cleaner after with the same solution I use for cleaning my used brass: http://www.6mmbr.com/ultrasonic.html "Clean and Shiney".

So, I pulled the trigger on a kit.

FLSUN 3D Metal Frame Prusa i3 DIY KIT

    Print size: ( X Y Z ) 200 x 200 x 220 mm
    Chassis: Metal frame
    Extruder Type: E3D V5
    Electronics (Motherboard): Ramps 1.4
    Stepper Motors: Nema 17

Can't wait to get a second printer up and going. I'll be printing out the upgrades while I wait for it. If I can get my wife off the Robo that is.

Prusa i3 is a fine machine so I imagine most of the decent clones are as well.
You will have fun with it :)

I told my wife I bought her her very own printer to justify the purchase. Maybe I can get some print time then.
