    Hello Robo Community
You have been very helpful to me in the past so I hope you can help me now.
This is my first time printing with PETG and I am having a lot of problems. I can't get past the first layer of the raft- after that the filament gets bent up in the hot end and ends up getting ground down by the hobbed bolt. I have tried changing the print speed from 50 to 30, temaptures between 230-270, and nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?
    Thanks for the help!
    (I'm using a R1 Plus BTW)

I am not sure if that is PETG problem but you may have a z- offset problem. Basically too close to the print bed.
I might be misunderstanding you so can you post pictures?

I'm using an XXL controller and I set the z offset to 1.5mm before the print but when I checked after the print started the controller had it set to -1mm. Could this be causing the problem? How can I stop it from doing this? Anything else I can try?
    Thanks!

Figured this out- had to change the start gcode in Cura to get the z offset to stay set where it is. Thanks for the help!!
