Hello, I am using poly carbonate and will not stick to my glass bed, so i bought the BuildTak surface for 3d printering. I proceded to use it and it ended up sticking too well so i could barely take of the pieces i printed. I had the heat bed at 80c. Do i need to lower the temp of the heat bed, someone please explain to me the full setting of what i should do.

    Hello.
80 on the bed is likely fine. You can try to lower it some but buildtak is polycarbonate(basically) so polycarbonate sticks crazy well to it. You'll need to raise your z offset for up your first layer. Sometimes there's nothing you can do and it just welds the part to the build tak but you should be able to dial it in

Replace it or don't print over the rips

I have been a BuildTak user for years, with non-heated bed. I have printed PET and PETG to it without heat and it works fine.

Increase your Z offset so the first layer isn't smashed down very well will help too.
