Can anyone tell me what "ERR MINTMP" on the R1+ means, and how to fix it?

Your thermistor may not be working or is unplugged.

What slicer do you use? do you see any temperature values in general and when trying to heat up the nozzle?

Yea, it means that while trying to extrude the extruder temperature dropped too much. Like @KTMDirtFace points out this is probably a thermistor issue rather than an actual extruder heater problem.

I Use Matter Control. It does not allow me to heat up.

I think it says "TMP FALL" error if it dropped to much.

In this case I think its reading 0 temp and wont do anything.. because the thermistor isn't reading anything.

Do you have the screw in thermistor? on the hotend? its a little brass looking thing with 2 wires coming out of it. They may have changed the design by now i'm not sure.

I would double check to make sure it hooked to the hot end good and a wire isn't broke or something. and make sure its plugged into the ramps board correctly under the printer.

If your fan is blowing on your extruder you may need to lower your fan speed. Had this after adding second fan. This would happen after second layer when fans turn on

That is a sure sign that the thermistor is dead or has bad wiring :)

Yea but I don't know how to verify that for the original poster. since I have no idea how mattercontrol works. does it have a temp monitor?

If it does and it shows 0 ALL the time.. his thermistor is dead or broken or plugged in wrong.

Just plugged in a new hot end and everything looks good, must have been the thermistor.

    Thanks
