Hey everyone I got my R2 Today However I have not been able to get the WebCam working on OctoPrint I get the error

There was an issue retrieving the source of the webcam. Please try reloading the page.

Reloading/Refreshing does not seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Which one are you using? (which camera)
Did it come pre-configured or did you add it? There is a little (minimal) setup that has to be done on the Pi itself.
Mine works fine on the C2 -- I added it myself.

The onboard camera works, in Octoprint, go to "System" and "start video stream"
    Refresh your browser window
    it should start displaying.

Ah, the C2 has no "onboard camera" but it is relatively easy to add.

just remember, ( it happens to me a lot) if you lose focus on your browser, and refresh fails to bring up the video, repeat the "start video stream" and refresh the browser again.

thanks for answers in here. thanks to those I managed to have some nice timelapses. Problem is that the video is by default in 640x480 resolution. I know that the Co Founder Of Robo told me that it should be full HD at 1920x1080. Also the octoprint inside the R2 currently overlays a watermark on the video rendered... I looked that up and found a really good info here. Problem is I really don't know how to have access to the files of the octoprint installed on my R2 unit... According to that page it's possible to up the rez and get rid of the watermark...
If anyone skilled enough can chime in and bring some light on that subject it would be awesome.
    Thanks

I am actually having this same issue, but the start stream/refresh technique does not work. I know I have the URL correct because it works on the phone app. I'm using IE. The timelapse photo works fine. Any ideas?

There should be a checkbox in the OctoPrint >> Settings >> Webcam & Timelapse for enabling (checked) or disabling (unchecked) the OctoPrint watermark in timelapses. For the rest you really need to read up on SSH and how you can remotely access the rPi. Putty and Bitwise SSH are two Windows programs that I recommend for remote access to Linux systems (What the rPi actually runs).
