This started today. Turned the machine on and started a print. The machine just makes a growling noise.

It's clearly the sound of a belt slipping, but X/Y are both motionless, so it has to be the z axis.

However, can't get the bed up to look underneath. Trying to control motors from the touch screen does not work. I can move x about 1/2 way, Y about 1/2 way, but not z.

Trying to control motor movement from OctoPrint has the same result.

It appears my Z axis limit switch is broken, but can't get to it. Anyone know how to raise the bed when the motors can't be controlled?

Ugh, nevermind. There was a big clob of melted PLA from a failed print the other night UNDER the print bed keeping it from going to it's home position.
