So after a month long issue of a shifting x axis I am now good on that but now I am having an issue with grinding the filament. It seems to happen after a couple of hours on a long print. I can back out the filament cut the grooved portion off and reload it and it will print for several hours ok and then after 8 hours or so it will grind again. I have tried increasing printing temp from 245 to 255 to 260 all with the same result. are there any other settings i can adjust to alleviate this?
    Thanks

Oh and I'm not getting a lot of the gummy deposits that can occur with petg. The prints actually look decent

Sounds like backpressure due to a clog... not normal for PETG
Try a different spool of you can

Ok, I'll give that a shot. I might take the hot end apart to see if there is any debris in there, also. i have the e3dv6 and titan extruder setup. Maybe some debris got into the short Bowden tube in there
