    Awesome.
Just remember to write down your settings or save your profile :)
NinjaFlex is one of the more difficult ones to perfect settings on although some of the more esoteric nylons can be a beast as well.

I'm using Slic3r and set up a profile for Normal print and NinjaFlex. I'm printing the rest of the buttons out again just to see if they turn out better too.

Thanks for the tip. Have you thought about a sticky or a forum with nothing but sticky tips in it? Temps, layer height etc....

You could attach profiles for various programs / Systems. A one-stop page for ninjaflex settings for various programs and OSes.

Here is my configuration file for printing NinjaFlex using Slic3r for the Mac. Let me know if this isn't the right thing. I'm not sure I exported it correctly.

So I'm still having a bear of a time with NinjaFlex, and Esun Eflex. I have the Titan extruder..which so far has been basically usless on flexibles.

I can't extrude into mid air let alone try a print. it constantly worms its way out near the bearing/drive tooth gear thing.

Tried going super slow in octoprint. put the feed rate to 50%.. no dice. ( this is just trying to feed it into mid air )

Ok contrary to what one would think.. I have to run my Titan tension spring as LOOSE as possible. and use TONS of heat. ( 240 ).

Its now printing in Ninja Flex at 30mm/s. My Esun EFlex still will not print ( or extrude ), but I suspect that is because it varies wildly in diameter.. up to 2mm...and has a hard time going through the tube. William at interservo refunded me ( year + ago ) for that reason and said I could keep the EFlex. I imagine they have sorted that out by now. But I thought I would keep trying on the spool I have since it was pretty much free.

Test cube.. 2 shells no top or bottom

You are likely still off by a large amount. About the fastest I can print NinjaFlex is roughly 10% the speed of other filament. That is with the GregsWade, I can't speak at all for your style extruder.

Also it is PRINT SPEED that needs to reduce, not FEEDRATE (at least on my slicer)

Yes this was just trying to slow it down to extrude into mid air... testing...not even on a print/slicer.

I print it at 30mm/s in simplify3d.. Anyway it works now.

I bought some SainSmart TPU. So its probably like semiflex? anyway it prints very easily. But its not as noodly as ninjaflex.

Ninja Flex is a bear...I can get it to work but its not easy at all, might work on one print and completely not at all the next... It will even worm its way out of the titan extruder, near the bearing and grab gear and fully supported filament shroud... ninja flex still finds a way to worm its way out of that and make a mess.

I imagine people with 2.8/3mm printers could print ninjaflex much easier.

Very much easier on my sigma, not at all on the ultimaker lol. It's still a wormy floppy bear but once used on the right set up...it's very cool

Might need to add some washers to increase the hobbed bolt tension. I've never printed ninjaflex so i can't be much help...

nah tension isn't the issue the issue is the open filament path and the flexible material "noodles" out :D. Its a real nightmare without the right set up (and even then it can be not so much fun)

I tried TPE90A, total disaster and it is one of the stiffer TPE/TPU formulations.

Without the tube and a really slow extrusion, none of them will be happy.
    Even SemiFlex needs that.

I haven't made the Bowden modification, but I have learned that the Priline TPU filament kinks in the extruder between 10 - 12 layers, so as I print, I set the pause for every 10 layers to fix the kink. Turned the heat up to 230°C, Bed up to 70°C, and slowed the print speed to 20 mm/s and has been working well. Finicky & requires babysitting, but it works. ;-)
