Ever since they updated my firmware, I have been getting

The was an unhandled error while talking to the printer. Due to that OctoPrint disconnected. Error: Heating failed, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed

Help support issued me a case number for further checking, but it was printing just fine today, after 1 of these "bed disconnected" errors, but now it is constant. I tried setting bed temperature to 0 to turn it off but it still checks the bed and stops the print job.

My printer is pretty much a paperweight now.

Thanks! That's what it was... 2 of the pogo pins stuck down, I was able to pop them back up to get the bed to heat, but this is probably temporary as this is a design flaw.

yep, the two left pins are pushed all the way down. So without doing a massive rewire using the magnets as connectors and void the warranty, I have a 1400 dollar paperweight. Thanks Robo!

Contact Robo, schedule a tier-2 technician and get the replacement going.
This is a know problem that they are working on re-engineering. (not that it immediately fixes your problem)

There is a lot you can print without a heated bed, but you will need to modify octoprint to disable the heated bed.
Just in case you want to print materials other than ABS while waiting for the exchange.

Regardless you need to get them on the phone and get the process going.

For what it is worth I have been pinging @Jerry RoBo 3D to let him know about these threads and the problem occurrences.
I KNOW they know the base problem, but want to keep them aware of the frequency it is affecting people.

I saw Jerry a week ago, but my printer wasn't broke then :(

I doubt they want to see me carrying in a broke printer.
