Hi guys, so this started happening yesterday with my Robo R1.
The problem starts when I join the motor and the Z axis and TIGHT THE SCREW on the shaft coupler.
The motors will move freely if one or none of them are attached to the Z axis
    Please watch the 25s. vid
I´ve tried using other stepper motors.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
    Thank you very much.

Yes, that humming/buzzing noise is the stepper motor skipping/dropping steps because it does not have enough drive current to work.
Like @Geof said -- tune the stepper driver or replace that little card for that stepper if it will not tune in enough to drive the motor.

Can you recommend a good replacement stepper driver possibly from Amazon good to have spares even if that's not the problem

The stepper motor? I highly doubt that is bad. Try swapping the connector from x to z and see if the problem follows. If no and that stepper works ok you know its not the stepper. I'd hate to see you waste money if thats not the problem.

More often than not its a bad cable or stepper driver. Occassionally Ramps board but rare, sometimes arduino...even more rare. Very least likely is the stepper :D

I was thinking about doing the the swap with the connectors as well I do have a sneaking suspicion that it's going to be a wire but can't say for certain.
Unfortunately none of those stepper Motors are available for me here in Canada but I'll look around on Amazon and see if I can find something suitable
