this is the second session of printing with petg and each session has now chipped the glass bed after removing the second print of each session. This time with small pieces making small chips. What am I doing wrong? Or why is it doing this?

It is a unwanted consequence of using borosilicate glass as a bed material. Aluminum or even plain old float glass would be a better choice. There is really nothing you could do differently to prevent this from happening.

Using glue stick helps deter stickin to hard and removing the print while still warm (40c ish) helps as well but @WheresWaldo is 100% on the nose. This will just happen. Get a piece of standard glass cut to size of your bed and binder clip it on. Its cheap so if it does chip, you can flip it or replace it very very cheap.

FYI- use this glass clipped on for all materials your printing with, its your new print surface :D
