Best Screen for Robo R1+

    I just purchased a Refurb R1+ on the robot site, what is the current Best Screen to get as a mod or upgrade? and more or less plug in play or little modification? Thanks!

    The only one that requires little (actually no changes) modification to the firmware is the reprap discount LCD:

    That one is plug and play, the full graphic one and other models require modification to the firmware.

    Not that changing the firmware is hard nor something you should be wary of, but if you just want plug-in-and-go that is the one

    That depends on which LCD you want. The Discount one or the Full Graphic one (https://www.amazon.com/OSOYOO-Graphic-Display-Controller-connector/dp/B00J1X4MFQ)

    I can't answer that, you know what you want :)
    If the discount lcd will do what you want, easy to install. If the full graphic is what you want you need to tweak the firmware.

    Cases for both of those are available on Thingiverse so you can print the case.

    Is there an example of what they look like fired up? and how hard is it to tweak the firmware? or the steps I guess..

    ordered the other one they listed was $2 more whoopee, Now all i need is some sort of table top to fit it, or cart, whats a good idea?
