Well, it finally happened today 2hrs into a 10hr print. The pogo pins gave way :( On the bed negative side so far. Print stopped after it could not bring the temp back up I guess. It started out at temp. Time for a replacement...

Question: Is Robo sending out the new bed with the non-pogo connectors yet?

    Thanks,
    Scott

My pogos went out a few weeks ago. They sent a new pogo board right away to get me back up and running. Then sent me the new style bed about a week later. The new board is a bit cumbersome with a cable attached.

The new bed has exposed screws. When I get time, I'll design something to hold glass or a PrinTinZ plate. Then all will be good.

No word from them yet, but it's only Monday.

I have the heated bed off in my s3d profiles and am still printing, but miss the hb.

This is what I have been eyeing and pondering trying out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07535Y4LR/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1A5FQE7R5RISB&psc=1

I need to measure the bed on the R2 and see if it will fit. It does need a working heated bed though me thinks.

You can go down to your local hardware store and buy a section of plain old plate glass (tempered if it really bothers you) 1/8" or less thick and attached that puppy to your bed and go to town. Heck, for what you save, get several.

The bed I listed has a coating that promotes better stickage during heated prints.
