Heated bed temperature changing, prints not sticking

    I have been using my Robo R2 without any issues since I got it about a month ago. Now, in the midst of a bunch of testing, new accessories, etc. (more on that topic in another post later), the bed temp is changing, mid print, going from 60 down to 27, and I think this is causing me problems with prints not sticking, edges curling, and prints failing.

    All of the settings in Cura are set to 60 - why is this changing?

    Probably the usual pogo pin bed connection issue. Check to see if they're all level.

    I'm no expert. But, while setting up my Palette+ I've had to create a custom printer in Cura 3.0.4, that has space for 4 colors. I went back and forth with Mosaic on this (with plans to follow up with them on Monday again), and I thought we had the printer set up and working correctly. THE BIG CHALLENGE I'm having with this now is the Temperatures keep changing.

    The bed temp was going to zero, so prints wouldn't stick. The extruder temp was changing from my preset 190 to 175 for no reason, and the PLA started to gum up on the nozzle and create other problems.

    Why would the temperature change? Cura seems to have the temps locked in.

    Ah, more detail. You could have forgotten to set properties for all 4 materials/extruders in Cura, so your temps are only applied to the first one with 0 for the others.
    That said I've never used either Cura 3 or multi-extruder setups on 2.5.

    You could look at / post a resulting gcode file for confirmation.

    NOW, I am completely jammed. I had a print running through my Robo R2, when the filament stopped feeding through. Of course, I wasn't home to see this, so the print was cancelled. 2 hours later when I got home, I found the filament WILL NOT feed through the hot nozzle. Even if I try to push with my fingers on the filament, I can't get it down in there.

    Sounds like a jamb. You will need to remove the extruder and will likely find that some filament has melted into or above the heat break. If this is PLA, remove the heater cartridge and thermistor and burn out the PLA with a hand held torch.

    Can I heat it in the microwave? Hot enough to melt out?

    No because it is metal.

    You can (however) use a small convection oven :)
