Printing Nylon

    I am new at this and know not how even to get a reply, But I have a new Robo R3 pluse that prints beautifully in PLA. I want to use ABS , Nylon , and flex filaments. What is the max temprature that I can take my extruder safely? It aslo came with some lubricant. Do I use it on my rails and my extruder gears? Any help would be most appreciated.

    I have the robo 3d r1 plus...May i set hot end temperatures high enough to print nylon safely?

    Yes, I believe the maximum temperature set in Firmware is 290°C you should not need that high a temp to extrude nylon. If I recall correctly I think I printed some nylon parts at 245°C.

    Most nylons print between 230 and 260. Should be good to go on most. Post what exact brand nylon your trying and if one of us has used it we can help you out.
