I spend about 10 hours on this today, varies emails and pics to Rpbp TS, plus couple others have come over to look at it too, so I'm pretty fried at the moment.

Last questions for now. If I loosen that long set screw on the side of the Heatsink (the screw hitting the edge in the pic) will I be able to rotate the the Heatsink and won't have to mess with the Heatblock and Heatbreak? Just wondering.

Yes, that will work too. I forgot that Hexagon had that on there.

Problem solved (and how stupid it was). I wonder WHY the new hexheads 'headsinks' shipped 180 degrees out of wack. I feel totally freaking stupid but then again TS didn't recognize it either. Thanks for those of you that offered help.

Next problem, I fired up the printer with a new spool of filament and a calibration piece. The printer started to do its thing, starts initialization the bed leveling routine and when it gets to the left (meaning servo side left ... X-) it rapidly bounces back and forth (like chatters) on the riser guide side. You know, it's trying to go further than it can on the X- axis.

    What's up now?

X home switch getting tripped correctly?
Remember HOME is the only position the printer KNOWs. Everything else is math. So if a wire is in the way and trips the HOME switch before the printer is HOME on that axis... well, problems :)

Strange again, I've never had this problem in the 2 years I've owned the printer. I haven't a clue how to make the wiring any 'tighter' than I have done? I can't find any pictures of the stock wiring routing on the Robo R1 plus. Anyone have any?

Route it up the other side of the fan. Further back towards the X rails.
Your bundle is actually making it the problem since as a bundle it is a bit too thick for where it is run.

    Looks nice though :)

I finally figured it out. After all this wasted time, discussion here, and of course TS, it looks like there never was a problem to begin with other than my lack of understanding. The stock Robo R1 plus hotend only inserts in one orientation. The screw on the 'side' of the heatsink must be on the gear side. The wires that exit the heatblock must be on the gear side too. The wiring exiting the heatblock routes back UNDER the front of the Do Not Touch label and up on the opposite side that the gear is on. The heating element wire (the thicker wire) and its connector are 'just' long enough to connect with its counterpart coming out of the wiring harness.

Sorry for wasting those that got involved time,
