Just turned on the Robo C2 for the first time and the first thing I see is "connection interrupted" error. On their website they give some steps to make sure cables are plugged in properly and all the way in their proper locations. That did not help solve the issue at all :( any tips/advice?

Normally its a connection issue to the Pi and mainboard. Does the Pi (small board on the left when looking in) light up when you turn on the machine ?

Yes it does light up. There are four mini LEDs and the 2 right ones are lit.

If it's still not working, I'd call Robo's phone support for assistance.

If you'd like to troubleshoot a little—with the trap door open—you should see two lights lit on the right side of the Robo board at first when you power on the printer. When the Raspberry Pi 3 computer is communicating with that board, the other two lights will light while that's happening. They connect together with a Type B USB cable.
