Solved y axis moving wrong way while homing

    how would i "shorten the y-axis because nothing is in the way.

    The positions of the bed probing are in the firmware.
    If that is what is not working then you have a problem that needs addressing.
    If the slicer were doing it then you could just shorten the Y axis in the slicer configuration, but since autoleveling is doing it you have a problem with the Y axis. Either HOME is not really homing all the way or there is something blocking travel. It is unlikely that your firmware is somehow specifically configured so that the Y axis is incorrect :) If you didn't modify the firmware that is...

    welp i tryed the classic "turn it off and drain the caps and reboot" approach and it seems to be working. idek. I'm a comp sci major and electronics never cease to amaze me.
