Answered extruder wont work

    I try to print something and the extruder doesn't do anything. I try to do it in matter control and nothing. I looked and the wiring is correct. it will make a faint odd whine but nothing.

    update.; it is NOT the motor. so its RAMPS or could it be driver?

    Either. I'd start with the driver. You can either pop a new one on or swap that driver with an X/Y/Z driver and see if it works (then buy some spares) Those are cheap

    thats what i thought imma cry if I have to replace the RAMPS because i cant find one that fits everything properly.

    nope not the ramps.
    while trying to put the driver back in with plyers i think i killed the arduino..... im so pissed off with this POS right now.

    Uh, you did do all of this with the power off -- no?
    Probably was a bad driver. Those are the most common failure

    think it was the RAMPS. and no i like to be stupid sometimes and tried it with the power on and felt the consequences of it. i swapped diver and it was still giving me issue before it all died
